Martha was never present part of my life growing up in Los Altos. She was fabulous cook but she originally came to work for my mother cleaning house but in time she became part of our family . I photographed her on her final day working. She was ready to retire.

Some times you just have to sit still and give your imagination room to grow. I painted my grand daughter Amelia sitting in the Luther Burbank gardens in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is such a great model for setting a scene I hadn’t thought about before.

The youngest of our 16 grandchildren having fun with his Grpa Michael. Wonder what he wants.

These two work summer and winter at Big Bear. They are always in or on the water, blue or white.
